Sunday 7th Feb Devon v Wiltshire

All three teams got off to a winning start

A 30-14

B 33-11

L 25-19

We started superbly in the B winning the fist session 10-1, but couldnt sustain that level and followed it with 7-4,

8-3 and 8-3 wins. Although on paper 33-11 doesnt look a bad result, after the first session we were hoping for something better. After last seasons problems Wiltshire had a lot of new players so hopefully as they gain experience our 33-11 win will turn out to be a good result. As a result of a number of drop outs Devon men only have a squad of 24 players, but hopefully they are all fully committed and we will not suffer from the player shortages which have ruined the last two seasons. Next game is away to Bristol on March 14th, a huge game particularly for the B, we cant afford to slip up as we did last season when we lost 32-12.

The weekend before is National Finals so heres wishing the A and Ladies th best of luck at Yarmouth.

Bert reporting on Pepsi and 'Guiness Book of Records STAR' Stewart Good. For £75 run to 10 frames, so here goes, Stewart leads 3-2 at the interval it is without doubt very entertaining so far with a crowd of 40 plus. Pepsi once again entertaining the crowd with outstanding finishing. Can Stew get a record with some amazing doubles? The answer is YES!!!!!! Only to see Pepsi plunder (what the hell is going on here?) Pepsi replies with 3 8-balls on the bounce....BANG!!!!! Fireworks exploding at the Plaza, Pepsi 9-6 up only to see Stew on the comeback trail. 9-8, the crowd is going crazy supporting both legends of the baize. Pepsi pulls out a GRAVEYARD finish to nail Stewart to the book (the book of pool). Honourable mention, Ian McKay made a guest appearance. Signing out - Bert (on behalf of Pepsi)

Hi everybody its Jay helping Pepsi do some spelling.  This is for the greatest game on Saturday, when Oly Bale plays Gareth Potts.  Im staying with Oly Bale Friday to help him out with his game and all day saturday and then its showtime, LIVE AROUND THE WORLD on Cuesport.tv.

Devon is on standby at the Plaza to see it on the big screen, and you will be able to see me (pepsi) at the table, waiting for Oly Bale to come in and i will have his cue to give to him.  THIS IS MASSIVE!  Its estimated over 500 players over the country will be there as well as live around the world with literally thousands and thousands tuned in to see this unbelievable £10,000 a man.

Oly has asked for my help, as he has said to me when we went to the pool club with an estimated 40 people there, where he did 15 8-balls and he beat me 25-5 and i had 5 8 balls, this is without the best he has ever played and he needs the fizzing in his game.

So take care all pool players and as for Pepsi mania fans i need you all to believe Oly can do it, because i can do it.  COME ON OLY BALE!!!!
